History and Credentials
Joseph Wright is a 1984 graduate of Michigan State University and a 1987 graduate of the Michigan State University School of Law. He has practiced law in the State of Michigan for over 35 years.
Mr. Wright has argued cases throughout the State of Michigan in both State and Federal Courts. He has argued cases that have become published law in both the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court. He was named a D Business magazine Top Lawyer in Metro Detroit in 2012 and 2013, an award conferred upon by
less than 5% of the states attorneys.
Mr. Wright served as a partner in two prestigious litigation firms prior to founding the Wright Law Firm in 2017. Since that time he has devoted his practice to working with individuals in estate planning and probate administration.
He was named a Super Lawyer (Thomson Reuters) in Estate Planning and Probate in 2024, 2022 and 2021.
